SPACE AGRONOMY

    Electrodynamic gravity sensation generation can be applied for ring-shaped rotating modules suited inside space habitats as internal rotating modules suitable for a great variety of experiments and for greenhouse for space agronomy applying hydroponics and grow lights for stable and high yields.

    Hydroponics is hydroculture method of growing plants in water using mineral nutrient solutions. Centripetal forces will constantly push water and plants towards the inside hull of the module provoking gravity sensation while rotation is going to enable so-called continuous-flow solution hydroponic culture where the nutrient solution constantly flows passing the roots. There is no need for soil, it is possible to control the nutrition levels, harvest is easy, water can be easily filtrated, and the tanks can be made of plastic. Grow lights such as LED, High Pressure Sodium (HPS), High Intensity Discharge (HID) and Metal Halide (MH) lights, provide high photosynthetic efficiency during the entire life cycle of plants increasing their yield and vitality.
